About

Nate Deshler is a jazz pianist and songwriter.​ For over 5 years, Nate was based in New Orleans, playing in the house band at Cafe Beignet on Bourbon Street. He is now based on the West Coast, performing across California, Oregon, and Washington.​ Most recently, he toured with the Tune Tours jazz combo throughout the tri-state area.

After receiving his early training in traditional jazz and classical piano, Nate went on to study bassoon performance and composition at Loyola University, New Orleans.

Nate's original compositions combine his background in jazz and a deep understanding of theory with ​an affinity for the complex arrangements of Steely Dan and the Beach Boys' expansive harmonies to create his unique sound.
